Champion Thornwood's Barefoot Beauregard won Reserve Best in Show on December 1, 2007 at the Tar Heel Kennel Club. On his way to winning RBIS, he won the Gun Dog group and Best of Breed.

Ch BareFoot Molly Brown Completes Her Championship!

| On her way to finishing, Molly went Reserve Best Female (one time), Best Female (three times), Best of Winners (three times), Best of Breed, and a Group III.
On awarding her Best of Breed, the judge commented that "she was the complete package. Her conformation was flawless, and her movement was so beautiful it gave me goosebumps." The judge's observation was especially meaningful because Molly had broken an elbow and the surgeon was not sure she would ever walk without a limp. Quite a way to finish for a 16 month old young girl!!! |

Spider Woman Recovers |
Two days after Cindy was bred, she was bitten by something which the various vets determined was a brown recluse spider based upon its affects on her body. For several days we thought we would lose her. However, with expert in-home care by Joy, Cindy has recovered and is back to her outgoing, friendly self. We are thrilled that she is alive. |

A Weekend to Remember |
| On Saturday, April 15, 2006, BareFoot Jaunty Jessica ("Jessie") won Best of Breed at the Dallas Gun Dog Specialty.
On Sunday, April 16, 2006, BareFoot's A'Bit of Daisy ("Tina") won Best of Breed at the Dallas Gun Dog Specialty. It was a wonderful weekend to have litter mates both win Best of Breed at the Dallas Gun Dog Specialty show.  Chance won Best of Breed at the Greater Monroe Kennel Club on November 26, 2005. Additionally, on December 2 & 3 he completed his UKC Grand Championship. |
